Which Columbus high schools changed divisions or regions for football season?

Football is split into seven divisions with four regions per division. Two schools from the Columbus area, Olentangy and Olentangy Berlin, moved up to Division I, and all four schools in the Olentangy district will now compete in Division I, Region 2. Last year, Olentangy Liberty was in Region 2 and Olentangy Orange was in Region 3.

New coach Wade Bartholomew ready to build bonds with Olentangy Braves

Former Bloom-Carroll football coach Wade Bartholomew has been hired for the same role at Olentangy, succeeding Mark Solis, who stepped down after nine seasons. Bartholomew led Bloom-Carroll to a 67-25 record in eight seasons and Division IV state semifinal appearances in each of the last two years.

Berlin edges Olentangy, 28-21

The Olentangy Berlin football team didn’t get rolling until the second half, but once finally did, was able to grind out a tough 28-21 victory over district rival Olentangy on Friday night in Delaware.

Central Ohio high school football scores: Find out who won in Week 5

A blocked extra point as time expired helped Olentangy (2-3) preserve a nonleague win over host Reynoldsburg (0-4). Ethan Grunkenmeyer threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns, both to Dubby Agudosi, who caught four balls for 115 yards. Dijon Jennings led the Raiders with 191 yards passing and a score, plus two rushing TDs. Olentangy kicker Hayden Olcott converted three field goals, while Raiders' kicker Ibrahim Fall made one but had his most important kick rejected to end the game.
